System Admin (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CFT) -7061854

Business Overview:
The candidate would work for the Client Production Services Technology (APS Trade Processing). The candidate will be required to work on various APS Trade Support items, specifically for functional and client facing support. He must be a motivated self-starter, with exceptional organizational skills. Candidate should have a strong functional and technical background and be ambitious enough to proactively seek answers and go the extra mile. He must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and highly familiar with Life Cycle of a Trade.
  • Act as a liaison among the clients, the business and users, and the technology
  • Develop product expertise to explain both functional and business value of solution to users and clients
  • Comfortable speaking with external clients, answer their queries and requests, provide timely updates
  • Facilitate proper communication to the business users and clients
  • Participating in incident management follow ups and resolutions
  • Inbox monitoring
  • Work on a shift rotation using a follow-the-sun support model, handing off to Hong Kong / Mumbai and receiving hand-offs from Paris / Mumbai counterparts
  • Rotational shifts between 6:30am ET to 7:00pm ET support coverage
  • Available on-call for after-hours support on a rotational basis
  • Write, update and maintain functional documentation
  • Submit Incident ticket and request ticket as per procedure, record details, ensure proper Priority is recorded prior to closing
  • Provide training to other members of the team
  • Potential to travel between NJ and NY locations

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an IT related and Finance industry
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask and take ownership on multiple items until resolution
  • Strong functional knowledge on Life Cycle of a Trade
  • Strong background using Microsoft products (Specifically Excel & Outlook)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Knowledge with FTP, SFTP, FTPS, CFT file transfer setup including SSH and PGP keys
  • Familiar with CyberArk tool and other IT security tools to connect to infrastructure servers
  • Background in Autosys Job Scheduling
  • Strong familiarly with ITIL foundation specifically to Change, Incident, and Problem managements utilizing ServiceNow
  • Experience writing functional documentation
  • Must be comfortable working on UNIX environments, Windows servers and databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server) including execute SQL statements (updates and inserts)
  • Must work well as part of a team

Qualifications (a plus):
  • ITIL certification
  • Strong knowledge of Life Cycle of a Trade
