PM/BA - EQD Reporting

This is a key Project Manager / BA role in a new project to replace a legacy EQD reporting system. Other project management duties, the role would also include overseeing and to extent assisting in requirement gathering, specification, testing, data extraction.  and project status tracking for multiple projects related to BNP Paribas Regulatory Reporting activities in Capital Market group, specifically US Equities and Derivatives. Your duties and responsibilities include:
  • Project Management duties.
    • Lead the stream of works and manage all project activities, perform daily task management and Senior Management Project reporting.
    • Manage relationship and report progress to the program manager.
    • Organize project deliverable roll-outs.  This includes writing and/or giving the presentations to business users on rollouts. Working with the users to ensure there is understanding objectives of each the deliverables.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and updates
    • Efficiently manage the BA and developer working on the project to ensure the deliverables meet the timelines set out.
    • Define project scope, goals and deliverables & manage releases.
  • Responsibilities as BA
    • Communicate with business sponsors, owners, users, and other FO/BO application teams to understand their businesses
    • Gather, analyse, extract, and document business requirements of projects including use cases, data, function, and quality requirements as required.
    • Participate in determine of and document the project priorities and expectations
    • Secure requirement sign-off from sponsors and key stakeholders
    • Keep track and anticipate of changes in project requirements
  • Leading the User Communication and Acceptance Testing Process
    • Analyse, design, and document project test requirements including test scenarios, test cases, and their association with specific requirements
    • Ensure users understand the test requirements, and secure their sign-off
    • Conduct verification tests before user tests, document and report issues to the team
    • Coordinate with users in UAT, document and communicate issues to the team
    • Secure users final acceptance sign-off 
Required skills
  • 5 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking IT, with direct experience in Front to Back Equities & Derivatives trading, order processing and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Equities & Derivatives regulatory reporting
  • Strong skills in oral communication, listening, and questioning
  • Strong Analytical skills.
  • Strong skills in writing business requirements and functional specifications
  • Proven experience in simultaneously working with multiple projects
  • Good understanding of data analysis and data mapping
  • Gook understanding of user acceptance testing
  • Strong coordination/organisational skills. 
Desirable skills
  • Experience in EQD Regulatory Reporting (Best Exe / OATS reporting / etc)
