Actimize Market Abuse BA

Role & responsibilities:

  • Collect business requirements.
  • Analyze and document user requirements and determine systems needs
  • Test new/enhanced surveillance scenarios and “de-bug” with developers.
  • Review Technical Documentation
  • Complete detailed documentation required for various phases of a project Develop and maintain a highly visible compliance application
  • Coordinate with technical teams and attend regular meetings with users
  • Write UAT test plan and test scripts for users to follow. 
  • Coordinate UAT with departments involved and hold status meetings to assess progress.
  • Work, co-ordinate and manage offshore teams.
  • Coordinate on project management process through all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Provide functional support for new applications and liaise with developers as needed.
  • Work on multiple projects and respect aggressive schedule
  • Work in a fast paced environment. Support may include extra hours, nights and weekends.
  • Experience in conducting detailed business and operational analysis for problem identification, system deployment and system enhancement. 
  • Gather, analyze, extract, and document business requirements of projects including use cases, data, function, and quality requirements
  • Experience in compiling detailed documentation that supports the business analysis. 
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and practices through the entire project life cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, regulatory environment a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in trade surveillance field preferred (experience with Actimize / Mantas / in house a plus).
  • SQL skills
  • Strong skills in writing business requirements and functional specifications
  • Ability to work well in a complex Financial Services organization
  • Familiarity with practices included in professional project or process methodologies (for example - CMMI, Six Sigma, ACE)
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycle stages – Requirements Gathering to Post Implementation
  • Experienced as a team player working in a global team as well as offshore teams.
  • Ability to manage conflicting requests on time in a continually fast moving environment
  • Must be a self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
 

Required skills:
